Urology

Urology is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the urinary tract or urogenital system. It also deals with the male genital system. Urologists are the doctors who treat these conditions. At the surgery center these doctors provide surgical intervention to correct abnormalities. One example of this is kidney stones.

The Fremont Surgery center provides the latest in technology to help resolve problems. We are one of the few facilities in the bay area to house a Medstone shockwave lithotripsy table used to perform a procedure called Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). We also offer several laser solution such as the Dornier Holmium YAG laser, and the LaserScope PVP Green Light Laser. We also offer a fully staffed and supplied facility to provide optimal care.
